Measure

Turn real parts into accurate digital models

Reverse engineering, scan-to-CAD, and inspection — so legacy parts, no-drawing components, and tricky geometry make it into your digital workflow with confidence.

How it works

Scan

I capture the part or assembly onsite or in-shop, fast and non-contact.

Mesh

Aligned, scaled, cleaned, watertight — ready for reference or printing.

CAD / report

A parametric model with real design intent, or an inspection report with findings.

What it's good for

Reverse-engineer a discontinued or no-drawing part
Scan-to-CAD: a real, parametric solid model you can re-manufacture
First-article and in-process inspection against your CAD
As-built capture of fixtures, brackets, and tricky geometry
Fitment and clearance checks on assemblies
Digitize a hand-fabbed prototype for production

Common questions

What do I get at the end?

Depends on the job — a clean watertight mesh (STL/OBJ) for reference or printing, a full parametric CAD model (STEP + native) for re-manufacture, or a color-map deviation report for inspection. You tell me the destination, I deliver the right file.

Do you come to me?

Yes. Scanning is a regional + travel service — I bring the scanner to your shop or part. For smaller items, you can also ship the part to me.

How accurate is it?

Accurate enough to re-manufacture from. I'll match the method and equipment to the tolerance the part actually needs, and document the key dimensions so you can trust the result.

Got a part with no drawing?

Send me a photo and a few details — I'll quote the scan.
