The fabricator who codes

From the shop floor
to the stars.

I'm Max — a fabricator turned technologist, and Astris Dynamics is the bridge between your shop floor and your software. I can wire a CNC table and write the code that turns its data into decisions.

Software & integration nationwide  ·  training & scanning onsite + travel

A live shop-floor dashboard — the kind of thing I build.

Your machines hum all day
and tell the office nothing.

Production lives on whiteboards and spreadsheets. Software vendors have never touched a torch, and the shop guys who get it don't write code. Most consultants live on one side of that gap.

I live on both.

What I do

One bridge, three ways to cross it

Build

Software

Sites and web apps built on the kaniva platform where it fits, fully custom where it doesn't — real tools, not brochureware.

Connect

Integration

Get machine and CNC data off the floor and into dashboards, job tracking, and the systems your office already runs.

Train

Cutting & scanning

Hands-on CandCNC plasma and fiber laser training, plus 3D scanning and reverse engineering — from someone who's run the equipment.

Speaks the shop
  • Welding & fabrication
  • CNC plasma & fiber laser
  • Fixturing & tolerances
  • Real production constraints
Astris Dynamics

You don't have to translate between your floor and your IT. I already speak both.

Speaks software
  • Web apps & dashboards
  • APIs & data pipelines
  • Machine data capture
  • ERP / MES integration
Proof over promises

From clipboards to clarity

Whiteboard job board Live production dashboard

One plasma table wired to real-time status the office can trust.

No-drawing legacy part Production-ready CAD

3D scanned and reverse-engineered in days, not weeks.

Tribal knowledge Documented & tracked

Lightweight MES glue that fits a small shop's budget and team.

Who's behind it

I've made the parts and run the machines.

For years I built Dirtbound Offroad — fabricating and welding rigs, learning the shop floor the hard way: tolerances, downtime, and the difference between a job that ships and one that bites you. Then I started writing software to fix the problems no off-the-shelf tool understood.

Most software people have never run a machine. Most machinists have never shipped software. I do both — so the tools I build survive contact with a real shop.
